PAVING THE WAY WORKSHOP-The ABC’s of Homeschooling

6:45 pm to 8:30 pm

Who: For those who want basic information concerning homeschooling.
Topics will include:

• How do I get started?
• What should I understand concerning Act 169, PA’s homeschool law.
• What can I expect?
• What am I getting myself into?
• How can I motivate my child?
• What kind of documentation should I keep?
• Q and A session.

Workshop will be hosted by Pennsylvania Curriculum Exchange’s owner, Julie Helms. You are welcome to come early (6:00pm-6:45pm) and stay late (8:30pm-9:00pm) to browse and shop, and to gleam from Julie’s 15 years of expertise in selling homeschool curriculum.

Speaker will be Shelly Taylor, homeschool mom of 7 graduating homeschoolers, and PA certified evaluator and testing administrator since the mid 1990s. Learn from Shelly’s experiences, feel free to ask questions, and enjoy some lively discussion! Check out

Evening is designed to give you pertinent information you may need to begin homeschooling, or the confidence to continue homeschooling your children in the lower elementary grades. Because in-store seating space is limited, SEATING IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 12 PEOPLE THAT SIGN UP!
